Interactive Design provides many possibilities for creating interesting experiences. Interactive Flash elements can become a point of interest in your website, especially if you want to stand out from the crowd. Product demonstrations, user controllable presentations, equipment instructions, interactive video, data visualisation - if you can imagine it, I can help you create it. The projects below showcase my various interaction design work.
Doppelganger
A new media artwork which explores concepts surrounding digital identity theft. Consisting of three interactive rear screen projections, participants engage with each screen in turn, using their whole body to experience the work. Concepts presented include our 'digital selves', our reliance on digital systems, and the futility of trying to restore a stolen identity. Head to the video page to have a taste yourself.

Flash Portfolio
I am currently working on rebuilding this website using Adobe Flash, to include more animated elements and sound. I'm also working on creating a hybrid drum machine/digital music mixer within the new site. So far the music player sees James Brown making a quick cameo, to a funky acid breaks soundtrack! This project will most likely continue to evolve long into the future..

Virtual Fish Community
My submission (and the winning entry, student division) for the Kelvin Grove Urban Village Interaction Design Competition (2007). The brief called for entries that 'display evidence of connectivity within the community'. Built using Adobe Flash, the work aims to foster a sense of community within an urban setting by using humour to bring people together. 5MB file - Takes time to load, please be patient.

Alien
Built as my introduction to using Adobe Flash, this is an environment themed on the movie Alien, experimenting with 2 dimensional space. Alien is one of my all-time favourite films, so this was a pleasure to make. The piece contains a lot of artwork from the film, so it's probably not fun viewing for the squeamish. Parental supervision recommended!. 6MB file - Takes time to load, please be patient
